Granting Permissions

When running Taskbar for the first time, the setup window requires granting some permissions and setting things up. The following video shows all the steps required to go through the setup:

Duplicate Permissions

In the case of updating Taskbar from the “1.0.8 Self-Signed” version, it’s required to re-grant the permissions even if they were already granted. This will only be required once and is related to the digital signature of the application.

In some cases, the previous permissions will still be shown in the system settings, in which case they must be manually removed before starting Taskbar again and proceeding with the setup process as usual. The following video shows how to manually remove the permissions and grant them again:
